Armed forces morale suffers due to lack of care for the wounded.
The Pentagon ought put its own house in order, allocate its budget against predictable eventualities -- i.e., casualties in combat -- and stop hiring contractors that cost several times what in-house operations cost assuming the contractors don't defraud the government! These fellows spend like a drunk with someone else's Gold Card. Oh. That would be your and my card, by the way.
The story behind the one that has come out is even worse. The services at Walter Reed are contracted out to a company called IAP Worldwide and on the Board of Directors of that profiteering band of %$#@ is Former Vice President Dan Quayle and Former Treasury Secretary John Snow and Press Release tells of the recently appointed General Hagee. These people manage to get profits to their pockets but when it comes to the taxpayers and those in military service we get %$#@ and the "news" doesn't talk about the crime of the Board Members cashing in by running the services into the ground
